Asst Geologist

Milloniganj is a busy part of Jabalpur and that is where we are set up at 11O No Rth. Working as an assistant geologist here means a lot of different things depending on the day. Sometimes there is a lot of paperwork to get through and other times we are looking at maps or soil details from the region. It is not a fancy office by any means. Just a desk, some chairs, and the usual tools we need to do the job. The weather in MP gets pretty hot in the summer so the fans are always running. We have been here for a while and people in the neighborhood know the building. It is easy to find if you know where the main road is. Most of the time it is just about getting the data right and making sure the reports are finished before the end of the week. There are a few of us here doing the groundwork and keeping things moving. We don't really have a big sign outside or anything like that. It is more about the technical side of things and staying organized. The local area has its own rhythm and we are just part of that daily life. We deal with the usual stuff like power cuts or the noise from the street outside. It is a practical space for practical work. Nothing more and nothing less. We just keep at it and try to stay on top of the schedule.
