Ashok Dewan

I have been working from my place here in Vikaspuri C 234 for quite some time now. It’s a busy area but we manage to get things done. Most people who come by know me as Ashok Dewan. We don’t have a big office or anything fancy, just a room where I keep my papers and take calls. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy outside with the traffic, but that’s just how it is in this part of Delhi. I started this because I needed something to do after my last job and it just grew into a regular thing. People usually call before coming over so I can make sure I’m actually at the desk. I don't really have a team, maybe just a helper who comes in some afternoons to help with the filing and the tea. We deal with whatever comes our way day by day. It’s not a complicated setup. I try to keep things straightforward and honest with everyone. If you are looking for the spot, it’s right in the middle of the C block, not too hard to find if you know the landmark. I spend most of my mornings here answering emails and talking to folks who need help. The neighbors are good people and we’ve been in this building for years. It’s a bit cramped with all the files stacked up, but it works for what we do. Nothing more, nothing less.
