Asghar Ali Khan

My name is Asghar Ali Khan and I work out of the Tis Hazari courts on the civil side. You can find me at 294 95. It’s a busy place with people rushing around all day long. If you’ve ever been to the courts here in Delhi, you know exactly what I’m talking about. It’s loud and there is paper everywhere. I’ve been sitting in this same spot for quite a long time now. My desk is usually covered in folders and old legal documents. I handle a lot of different things that come through the civil courts. It’s steady work, though it can be a bit draining some days with all the back and forth. I don’t have a big staff or anything like that. It is just me and maybe someone to help with the filing when it gets too much. I like to keep things straightforward. If someone comes to me with a problem, I tell them what I think and we go from there. No fancy words or complicated explanations. Just the facts. Most people who come here are stressed out, so I try not to add to that. I just do the work that needs doing. Sometimes the court gets delayed, and we just wait it out.
