As A Recruiter

I work as a recruiter out of an office in Janakpuri. The address is B 1 370, right in West Delhi. Most of my day is spent looking at people's backgrounds and talking to them on the phone about what they want to do for a living. Delhi is a huge place and there are always people looking for work. I try to find a good fit for them if I can. It’s not always easy because sometimes what a company wants and what a person can actually do are two different things. My office isn't anything fancy or polished. It’s just a room with a desk and my computer and a whole lot of paper. Janakpuri is a very busy area so there is always noise from the street coming in through the window while I'm on the phone. I’ve been doing this for a while and you get a feel for people after a few minutes of talking. I don't use any of those big corporate slogans or fake promises. I just tell people the truth about the jobs I have available right now. Sometimes I have to give bad news which isn't the best part of the job. But when someone gets a job they really need, it makes all the endless phone calls and emails worth it. It’s a lot of sitting and typing but it keeps me busy and the days go by fast.
