Arun Plastic Industries

My father started Arun Plastic Industries a long time ago. We are right here on Rama Road in the Kirti Nagar Industrial Area, at number 36. It’s always noisy around here with all the trucks coming in and out. Most days, I’m just trying to keep the machines running right. Plastic work is messy, to be honest. There’s always dust and that specific smell when the heaters are on. We have a small group of guys who have been here for years. They know the rhythm of the place. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside on the stools and drink tea until it comes back. It isn't a fancy office with air conditioning. It’s just a workshop with a lot of molds and scraps lying around in the corners. People come by asking for specific parts or just to see if we can make something for their shop. We just do what we can. The floor is usually covered in little bits of plastic shavings. Kirti Nagar is a crowded place, and finding parking is a nightmare every single morning. I usually park my scooter way down the street and walk over. By the time I open the shutters at 9, there’s already someone waiting. We don't have a big website or anything. Just the workshop and the machines. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy. We mostly just focus on getting the orders done on time so we can go home to our families.
