Arora Plastic

We’ve been at Sadar Bazar for quite some time now, right on B G Road at number 1205. Most days it’s pretty loud out there with all the carts and people moving past our door. Inside, it’s mostly just stacks of plastic items piled up. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a counter and a lot of stock to keep track of. My brother and I usually handle the orders that come in. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic on the main road, which is frustrating but that's just how it is here. We spend a lot of time checking the inventory and making sure everything is where it should be. It gets dusty, especially in the summer when the wind blows through the market. We just keep our heads down and do the work. Customers come in looking for specific things, and we try to find them in the back. It’s not a big operation, just a regular shop. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but our spot stays pretty much the same. Some days are busier than others. When it rains, the street gets messy and things slow down. We just sit here, drink some tea, and wait for the next person to walk in. It's a living. We don't do anything special, just sell what we have and try to stay organized. I usually have to clean the front glass every morning because of the soot from the passing trucks.
