Arjun Chawla

My name is Arjun Chawla and this is my spot in Rohini G 17. If you know Rohini, you know it can be a bit crowded and busy. My place is right in the middle of it. It’s a straightforward setup. I don't go for anything fancy. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works for what I need. People in G 17 usually know where I am. I’ve been around here long enough that the local shopkeepers recognize me. It’s not a corporate office. It’s just a room where I handle my business. I spend a lot of hours here at G 17. The traffic outside can be a bit much during the rush hour, but once you’re inside, it’s okay. I have a few chairs for when people visit. Most of the time it’s just me and some paperwork. I don’t have a big team or anything like that. Arjun Chawla is just a name on a door here. I try to keep things organized but sometimes things get piled up. That is just how it goes when you are working alone. I like being in Rohini because everything I need is close by. It’s a practical place to be. I don't plan on moving anytime soon. This is where I am every morning. I usually get here before the sun is too high and stay until it’s dark. Rohini G 17 is a place that never really sleeps. Even late at night, you can hear some noise. My office is my little corner of the world. I have a small electric kettle for making tea when I get tired. I don’t have a big sign with my name on it, just a small one. People find Arjun Chawla through word of mouth mostly. I don’t believe in spending money on things I don’t need. The chair I sit in is a bit squeaky, but it’s comfortable enough for me. I keep my files in old metal cabinets. They are heavy and hard to open, but they do the job. G 17 is a good location because I can walk to the market if I need anything. I know the people who work in the nearby shops. We nod to each other every morning. It feels like a real community here. I’m just one person doing my thing in a big city.
