We operate out of F-30 in the Nangloi DSIDC area. Arihant Plastics is basically a small unit where we deal with plastic goods and raw materials. It’s an industrial estate, so there are lots of similar places around us. We have a couple of machines running most of the time. It smells like heated plastic in here quite often. We make small items, mostly utility things that people use every day without thinking much about it. It’s a bit of a messy place with bags of pellets and scraps everywhere. We don’t have many workers. We do the packing and the loading ourselves most days. The road outside can get pretty bad when it rains, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be some massive corporation. We just want to produce decent stuff that sells. Most of our customers are wholesalers who have been buying from us for years. We don’t do any fancy packaging for our own brand. We just get the work done. It’s a lot of manual labor. Sometimes the power goes out and everything stops, which is frustrating. But we just wait it out and start again. It’s just how things are here in Nangloi. We’ve been at this spot for a while and we plan to stay. We don't have a big break room or anything like that. We usually just eat our lunch right there by the machines.
