Arabic Translations

You can find our small shop at number 245 in Connaught Place. It’s right in the middle of everything, so there is always a lot of noise and people walking by outside. We focus on Arabic translations, which means we spend hours looking at documents and making sure the words make sense in both languages. It’s a lot of sitting at a desk with dictionaries and a computer. We get all kinds of people coming in, some with legal papers and others just needing a simple letter looked at. The shop isn't very large, so it can feel a bit cramped when we have a few customers waiting at the same time. We try to keep things simple and just get the work done as it comes in. There’s no big team here, just a few of us who know the language well enough to help out. Sometimes the translations are straightforward, and other times they take a lot of thought to get the phrasing right. We’ve been in CP for a while now, and we’ve seen shops come and go. We just stay focused on the text in front of us. It’s a quiet kind of work despite being in such a loud part of the city. We don't have any flashy signs or big advertisements. Most people just find us because they need help with their paperwork and we’re right here. It’s a steady job and we like the routine of it.
