My office is at Tilak Marg 46. It’s an old-school kind of place, located in a part of town that has a lot of history. I’ve been working from here for quite a while. The building has thick walls and high ceilings, which stays cool even when the sun is out. My daily routine involves a lot of reading and meeting with people who come by for advice or to handle their matters. It isn't a massive operation with a hundred staff members. It’s mostly just me and a couple of helpers keeping things in order. The street outside, Tilak Marg, is usually quite busy with traffic and people walking by. I like the energy of the area. My desk is usually covered in folders and loose papers. I try to organize them every Friday, but by Monday afternoon, it’s back to the usual mess. People know me in the building, and I’ve been around long enough that I don't need a map to find anything nearby. It’s a practical workspace. I don't go in for fancy decorations or modern furniture. I have my old chair, my wooden desk, and my books. That’s enough for me to get my work done. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a short break. It’s a predictable way to spend the day, and I'm happy with that. There is something nice about having a familiar spot to go to every morning where things are exactly as I left them.
