Anil Plastics

Our place is tucked away in Chuna Mandi, specifically Gali No 2. Anil Plastics has been running out of this 3001 spot for a long time. Paharganj is always crowded, so it’s usually noisy around here with rickshaws and people hauling goods. We deal with plastic items, mostly things people need for their shops or small businesses. It is a bit cramped inside the shop because we have so much stock piled up. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just deal with people who walk in or call us from the market. It is a family thing, really. My uncle started it and now we just keep it going. There are days when the heat is too much and we just sit near the fan, waiting for the next order. It’s not a glamorous business, but it’s what we know. We sell bags, containers, and various plastic parts. Sometimes the orders are big, sometimes it’s just someone needing a few pieces. We don't make a big deal out of it. We try to keep our prices where they should be so the regulars keep coming back. The alleyway is narrow, so getting deliveries in and out can be a real headache. But that's just how life is in this part of Delhi. We’ve been through the ups and downs of the market and we are still here, just doing what we do every day in the shop.
