Anand Pravin

I've been at B 41 in Nizamuddin East for a long time now. It’s a nice enough part of town, pretty quiet compared to the rest of the city. I usually start my work day around nine, though sometimes I linger over breakfast a bit longer. My setup here is quite simple. I have a desk, a few chairs, and a lot of books that I’ve collected over the years. I don’t really have a big sign outside or any marketing materials. People just seem to know I’m here. Mostly, I deal with people who have been coming to me for years. It’s more about the relationships than anything else. I don't use a lot of technology, just the basics to get the job done. Sometimes I think about renovating the place, but then I realize I like it just the way it is. It has a bit of a worn-in feel, like an old pair of shoes. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I spend a lot of time on the phone or just reading through documents. It’s a slow pace of life, but it suits me. I don’t feel the need to rush things or act like I’m part of some big company. It’s just me, Anand, doing what I know how to do in a place I’m comfortable in.
