You can find us on the second floor of building 125 in Kailash Hills. East Kailash is a busy part of New Delhi, but up here on the second floor, it’s a bit quieter. We handle financial stuff for people. It involves a lot of looking at numbers, filling out forms, and trying to make sense of taxes or investments. Our office has those tall metal filing cabinets that are always full of paperwork. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk up the stairs and you’re there. We spend our days with calculators and spreadsheets. It’s not the most exciting work to some, but we find it interesting enough to keep at it. Sometimes clients come in and they’re worried about their money, so we sit down and look at everything together. We use plain language because finance is already confusing enough. The office gets a lot of sunlight in the afternoon, which is nice. We have a small kettle for tea and that’s about it for luxuries. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we know each other's habits and how we like things done. We just do our best to keep everyone's finances in order. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we take it one day at a time. No big speeches or complicated strategies, just looking at the math and being honest about what we see in the books.
