American Express

Our office is tucked away in House No 392 on Street No 7 in Durga Puri Extn, over in the Shahdara part of Delhi. It isn't a place you would notice right away if you weren't looking for it. The street can get a bit narrow when cars are parked on both sides, which happens pretty much every day. We are just a small team working out of this building, handling whatever comes across our desks. Inside, it's pretty quiet compared to the street outside. We have a couple of fans that hum all day and some old filing cabinets that have been here since we moved in. We don't really do the whole corporate office thing with glass walls and fancy carpets. It’s more of a local workspace where we know the name of the guy who brings us water every morning. The work we do for American Express keeps us busy enough, mostly dealing with records and basic admin stuff. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when the weather is bad or the traffic in Shahdara gets extra stuck. We usually take our lunch breaks together and talk about regular stuff like family or what’s on TV. It’s just a normal place with normal people doing their best to stay organized and get the work finished before the sun goes down.
