Ameican Exress Service Center

This is the service center over in Vikasuri, New Delhi 18. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get things sorted. The office isn't anything special to look at. We’ve got a counter where people come up with their papers and questions. The benches for waiting are a bit hard, and sometimes the fan above them makes a loud rattling sound. We spend the day looking at screens and typing in details. It gets a bit hectic when several people show up at once. There’s a small shop next door that sells cold drinks, which is a lifesaver during the summer months. The street noise from Vikasuri filters in through the front door, so there’s always a background hum of traffic and horns. We try to keep things organized with various bins for files, but it’s a constant battle against the clutter. We don’t have any fancy mission statements on the walls. It’s just a place where we come to work and help people with their account issues or whatever they need. The lighting is a bit bright and fluorescent, but it helps when you’re reading small print all day. It’s a straightforward environment. We just show up, do the work, and head home like everyone else in this part of Delhi. It's a bit of a grind sometimes, but we've got a good routine going.
