I’m located at Tilak Marg, number 25. It’s a pretty well-known area but our specific spot is a bit more tucked away. Working out of here is interesting because you see all sorts of people passing by. The office itself is quite plain. I’ve got a sturdy desk and a couple of shelves filled with books and folders that have been there for years. There’s a window that looks out onto the street, though the view is mostly just the wall of the next building. It stays relatively quiet during the day which is good for getting things finished. I don't really have a big staff or a receptionist. Usually, if you come in, you'll just see me sitting there working through whatever is on the desk. The floor is that old-fashioned tile that stays cool even when it’s boiling outside in Delhi. I’ve lived and worked in this area for a long time now. You get used to the rhythms of the street. It’s not a place where we put on appearances. If there’s work to be done, we just do it. No big speeches or complicated systems. Sometimes the internet acts up and I have to go out and check the wires. It’s just one of those things about being in an older building. Most of the people who come here are regulars who know exactly where to find me. It’s a straightforward way to run things.
