Alliance Translation Point

Alliance Translation Point is located in Nehru Place at B 11 92. If you know Nehru Place, you know it’s one of the busiest spots in Delhi, and we are right in the thick of it. We do translation work. This means we spend our days looking at documents and converting them from one language to another. Our office is small and usually filled with stacks of paper and various dictionaries. It’s not a very polished environment, but it’s where we get our work done. We have a few computers and a lot of pens. People from all walks of life come to us—students needing their certificates translated or business people with contracts. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Most people find us just by walking past or hearing about us from someone else. It’s a small, dedicated team here. We spend hours typing and making sure the words are just right. The noise from the market outside can be a bit much sometimes, but we’ve learned to tune it out. We’ve been doing this for quite a few years now, so we’ve seen all kinds of interesting papers. We don't make any grand claims; we just tell people when they can pick up their work and we do our best to have it ready. It’s a straightforward, local service. We just take it one page at a time and try to keep things accurate.
