You can find Alim Mansuri Enterprises over in the Okhla Industrial Estate, specifically Phase II at B 22 / 2. Being in an industrial area means it’s always loud and there’s always something moving. We deal with various industrial parts and materials. It’s a practical kind of business. The workshop is usually a bit greasy and there’s metal scrap here and there, but we know where everything is. I’ve been working in this field for a long time, so I know the machines pretty well. We don't spend money on fancy offices or nice furniture because that's not what we're about. We’re about getting the job done. Most of our customers are other businesses in the estate who need something fixed or a specific part fabricated. Some days the power goes out and we have to sit around and wait, which is just part of working here. It’s a tough environment, especially in the summer when the heat in the shed gets really intense. We drink a lot of tea and just keep working through it. My workers have been with me for years, and we operate like a small family. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. If we can do the work, we say yes. If we can't, we tell you who can. It’s simple and honest, which is how I like to run things around here.
