Akmal Cotton Shop

Akmal Cotton Shop is located in Munirka, right in the middle of the busy Laxmi Market. We are in the Gyandeep Complex, at shop number 66 A. If you have ever walked through Laxmi Market, you know it is always crowded with people looking for all sorts of things. Our shop is where we keep all our cotton goods. We have stacks of fabric and rolls of cotton piled up high. It is not a very big space, so it can feel a bit cramped when we have a few customers inside at the same time. We have been here in Munirka for a while, and we know most of the other shopkeepers in the complex. People come to us when they need cotton for their homes or for making clothes. We don't do any big advertisements or have a fancy display window. We just put some of our best stuff out front so people can feel the quality for themselves. The market can be very noisy with all the shouting and the traffic nearby, but inside the shop, it feels a bit more grounded. We spend our days measuring out fabric and chatting with the regulars who stop by to see what is new. It is a simple business. We buy the cotton, we show it to the people, and we sell it for a fair price. There isn't much more to it than that, and we like it that way. It keeps us busy all day.
