Our address is Karkardooma 146. It is a simple number for a simple place. Akhtar Shammim is the person behind it all. Being in Karkardooma means we are in the middle of a lot of activity every single day. The building at 146 is just like many others on the street. It is not meant to stand out or grab your attention. Inside, things are kept very basic. We don't have fancy lights or a big reception desk with a phone that never stops ringing. It is just a working space. We have been in Karkardooma for a long time now. The street can get pretty crowded, especially in the afternoons when everyone is out. Finding 146 is not too hard if you are walking along the main path. We just do our work and go home. There is no mission statement or anything like that. It is just about getting the job done. Akhtar Shammim is usually around to see to things personally. The place feels lived in. There are piles of paper on the desks and the tea kettle is usually on in the corner. It is an honest way to run a business. We don't put on any acts for visitors or guests. What you see is exactly what you get. It is just us at 146 Karkardooma, doing what we have always done. We keep it simple because that is what works best for us.
