Ajit Plastics

Our place, Ajit Plastics, is located at C-232 in the Anand Parbat Industrial Area in Paharganj. If you’ve ever been to Anand Parbat, you know how the streets are narrow and always full of activity. We’ve got machines here that run for hours, making all kinds of plastic items. The smell of melting plastic is something you just get used to after a few days. It’s a bit of a maze to find us if you don’t know the way, but once you’re at C-232, you’ll see the stacks of raw material piled up near the entrance. The floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or small plastic scraps. We have a small office area tucked in the corner where the accounts are kept in thick registers. It’s not a quiet job. There’s always the clanking of metal and the hiss of the molding machines. We have a small crew of guys who have been with us for years. We eat lunch together on the rooftop when the weather allows it. Dealing with suppliers and transport guys is a big part of the day. Sometimes a machine breaks down and the whole afternoon is spent with grease on our hands trying to get it started again. It’s a tough environment but it’s what we know. We just focus on getting the orders out on time without much fuss or any big speeches about what we do.
