Agarwal Transformers

You can find Agarwal Transformers over in Badli Phase 1, specifically at Mukundpur 292 B/6. It is an industrial area, so there is always the sound of machinery and trucks moving around. The workshop is quite large and there is always some metal or wire lying around on the floor. It smells like oil and burnt solder most of the time. We have a small office area blocked off with some glass panels, but I prefer staying out where the work is happening. The roof is high and made of tin sheets, so it gets very loud when it rains. We have a team of four guys who know their way around transformers. We spend our days winding coils and fixing parts that have worn out. It is hard work and our hands stay greasy until we go home. The street outside is narrow and often blocked by delivery vans. We’ve been at this address for a long while now. We don't really do much in terms of showing off the place. It’s a functional space meant for heavy work. Sometimes customers come in with broken equipment and they look a bit lost in the clutter, but we manage to find what they need. It is a no-nonsense environment. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot and work until the light fades. This is just how the work gets done in Badli.
