Adobe Systems

We’ve been running things here at Adobe Systems for quite some time now. Our spot is at Aouopjpnm0P, which usually makes people do a double take when they see it written down on an envelope or a shipping label. It’s just where we ended up setting up shop. The office isn't anything fancy, just a regular space where we get through the daily pile of work. Most mornings, the first person in starts the kettle and opens the windows to get some air moving. We spend a lot of time at our desks dealing with computer programs and digital files that people need help with. It gets pretty quiet when everyone is focused, though you can usually hear the hum of the computers and someone tapping a pen on their desk. Lunch is usually a quick break where we talk about whatever was on TV last night or how the traffic was coming in. We don't have a big corporate lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It's just us in here. Sometimes the printer jams or we run out of milk for tea, and someone has to run out to the shop down the road. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with stacks of paper here and there, but we know where everything is. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the tasks get finished before it’s time to lock up. It’s a steady kind of life.
