If you have ever been to the Western Wing of Tis Hazari, you know how it gets. It is always crowded and there is a lot of shouting and people running around with files. Aditya Agarwal’s office is right in the middle of all that. We spend most of our mornings just trying to find a place to park or navigating the hallways. It’s not the quietest place to work, but that is just how it is around the courts. We deal with a lot of paperwork every single day. The desks are usually covered in folders and notes that we need to get through. It’s a very practical setup. We don’t have fancy furniture or anything that looks like it belongs in a movie. Just chairs, tables, and lots of paper. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, or the fans get a bit noisy, but we are used to it by now. It feels very real here. People come in with all sorts of problems, and we just try to help them out as best as we can. It’s a lot of long hours, especially when the courts are in session. We usually eat lunch quickly at the desk or grab something from a nearby stall if we have the time. It is a bit of a grind, but we like being right where the action is. There are always people waiting in the halls. This is just our everyday life at Tis Hazari.
