Our company, Acuity Builders And Developers, is based in Shahdara, Delhi. We’re over at H 20 in West Jyoti Nagar. Being in the building trade means we’re often out at sites, but this is where we do all our planning and meetings. Shahdara is an old area with a lot of character, and we’ve been working around here for quite some time. The office is pretty basic—just some desks, a few chairs for visitors, and lots of blueprints rolled up in the corners. Building houses and developing property involves a lot of back-and-forth with different people, so our phone is always ringing. It’s not a polished corporate environment. There’s usually some dust on the floor from someone coming back from a construction site. We don’t use any fancy marketing talk. We just focus on the actual work of putting buildings together and making sure things are done right. It’s a lot of coordination and dealing with local regulations, which can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We’re just a local business that knows the neighborhood well. People around here know where to find us if they have a project in mind. We’ve seen a lot of changes in West Jyoti Nagar over the years, and we're just glad to be a small part of the community here.
