Being in Chandni Chowk means you never have a quiet moment. Our shop is at Gali Gulian 1312, and if you know this area, you know how tight the lanes are. We are Acrylic Jain Tran Cab Manufacturing Compny and we’ve been working out of this spot for a long time. The space is filled with tools and pieces of acrylic and parts for cabs we are putting together. It’s pretty messy most days with scraps on the floor and the smell of glue or whatever we are using that day. We don't have a big reception area or fancy chairs for people to sit in. Usually, customers just stand around while we show them what we are working on. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that’s when we actually take a break. Working in Gali Gulian is tough because getting materials in and out is a huge chore with all the rickshaws and people walking. But we know everyone around here and they know us. We just focus on getting the manufacturing done right. It’s not a corporate office, just a place where things get made. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait or talk for a bit until it comes back. It’s just how it is here in the old city, and we have gotten used to the pace of it over the years.
