Accenture

Our spot is in Mayuresh Shrishti Park over in Bhandup. If you know Mumbai, you know how things can get crowded, but this area feels alright to us. We spend most of our day inside this Accenture office just keeping things running. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for the desks and a small corner for taking lunch. Most of the staff takes the train to Bhandup station and then catches a bus or a rickshaw to get to the park. It’s a bit of a commute but we’ve all gotten used to it over the years. We aren't really into big speeches or trying to look more important than we are. We just show up, do the work, and try to get out before the evening rush hour hits its peak. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult during the monsoon, and we have to deal with a few leaks or damp walls, but that’s just life in Mumbai. We keep our files organized and our heads down. There isn’t a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you just walk in and see us working. We get along well enough, sharing snacks and complaining about the humidity. It’s a practical environment. We don’t have much to say about ourselves other than we are here and we do our jobs. It’s a steady place in a fast city. We just keep working most days to get everything finished on time.
