Our address is Quarter No 830, Double Storeys. It’s one of those older buildings that has been around for ages. There’s no big sign for Accenture on the outside, so you really have to look for the number 830. The stairs are a bit narrow and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s home for us during the day. We share the building with other people who live here, so you hear the sounds of daily life like cooking smells or a TV playing next door. It’s definitely not your typical corporate office. We have our desks crammed into the rooms and we use every bit of space we have. There’s a lot of old-fashioned charm to the place, even if it’s a bit inconvenient sometimes. We do all our work from here, mostly handling the digital side of things. We don't have a fancy lobby or a security desk. You just walk up and knock. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don’t feel the need to act like we’re in a high-rise in London or New York. We’re just here in the Double Storeys, doing what we need to do. Most of us have been working together for a while, so there’s a lot of chatting while we work. We know which floorboard creaks and which window doesn't close all the way. It’s a real, working office without any of the extra polish people expect.
