Abode Interior

At Abode Interior, if you look for us in Dwarka, you will find us at D 263 in the Nawada Housing Complex. It is a residential neighborhood, so it feels a bit more relaxed than the main city markets. We deal with interiors, which mostly means we spend our time looking at wood samples and paint charts. Our space is filled with offcuts of laminates and half-empty cans of polish. It is a bit of a mess, but we know where everything is kept. Usually, there is a smell of sawdust in the air because we are often prepping things for a job. We are just local people working in the area. People from the housing complex often walk past and peek inside to see what we are making. We have a small desk where we do our drawings and figure out the costs. It is not a corporate setup at all. We wear regular clothes and drink a lot of tea while we discuss how to fit a cabinet into a tight corner. New Delhi can be very hot, so we usually have the cooler running loudly in the corner. It makes it hard to hear the phone sometimes, but it is necessary. We don't have any big slogans. We just like making things look decent inside people's homes. It is a simple way to earn a living and we have been doing it right here for several years now.
