Abacus Language House

We are located in Greater Kailash, at F 142. This part of New Delhi is usually pretty busy but the streets inside the blocks are a bit quieter. Abacus Language House is situated in a building that has seen many years of use. We have a few rooms dedicated to our work. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few calendars and some old notes pinned up. We have wooden chairs and tables that are sturdy but nothing special to look at. The light switches are those old-fashioned ones that click loudly. We spend our days reading and writing, so it’s usually pretty quiet inside, except for the sound of someone typing or flipping through pages. There is a small garden area outside the building where we can see some greenery through the window. It helps when the work gets a bit tedious. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one near the entrance so people don't miss it. Most people who come here already know where they are going. We don't bother with much decoration or fancy carpets. We just need a place to sit and concentrate on the language tasks. It is a very grounded way to work. We have our routines, like getting tea in the morning and making sure the windows are locked before we leave in the evening. It’s a simple life at F 142.
