Aashwat Furniture Pvt Ltd is located at P1 10 in DLF Phase 2. Being in Gurgaon, we are right in the middle of a lot of growth and new buildings. Our place is where we handle the furniture side of things. It’s a mix of a small display area and space where we move things around. You can often smell the wood or the finish we use. It’s a bit dusty, which happens when you deal with furniture all day. We have various pieces sitting around, some finished and some waiting to be picked up. DLF Phase 2 is a well-known spot, so it’s easy for people to find us. We don't have a massive, shiny showroom like the big chains. Our setup is more about the actual items and making sure they are solid. We spend a lot of time checking the joints and the surfaces of the tables and chairs. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in Gurgaon traffic, which throws off our schedule, but we do our best. It’s a hands-on business. We are usually wearing work clothes because there is always something to lift or move. It’s a practical way to spend the day. We’ve been here in Haryana for a while and have seen the neighborhood change, but we just keep focusing on our wood and tools. There’s always a pile of sawdust somewhere that needs sweeping, but that’s just a sign of a busy day at work.
