Aashirwad Plastics

You’ll find us in Paharganj at Chuna Mandi 2140/2. Aashirwad Plastics is the name on the front. If you know Paharganj, you know it’s a whirlwind of tourists, rickshaws, and tiny shops. We are right in the middle of it. Our shop isn't big, but we pack it full of plastic goods. We have everything from buckets and bins to small household items. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside, especially when we get a fresh delivery and the boxes are stacked up in the middle of the floor. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. Most of our customers are locals or people running small hotels nearby. They just want something that works and isn't too expensive. We don’t have a big corporate story. It’s just us selling what people need for their homes. In the summer, the heat in Chuna Mandi can be quite something, so we have a couple of fans going all day. We know the other shopkeepers around here, and we often share a cup of tea in the afternoons. It’s a noisy, busy place to work, but we like being in the heart of the city. There's always something happening outside the door. We just keep things moving at 2140/2, one day at a time, making sure the shelves are stocked and the shop is open when people need it.
