Aalam Battery & Inverter

Our shop is located on Dal Mill Road in Uttam Nagar, specifically at G-1/445. At Aalam Battery & Inverter, we deal with power problems every day. People come to us when their lights go out or when their car won't start because the battery died. The shop is filled with the sound of chargers humming and the heavy smell of garage work. We spend a lot of time testing old batteries to see if they can still hold a charge or if they are just scrap metal now. It is a messy job sometimes, dealing with terminal grease and distilled water. The space at G-1/445 is a bit small, so we have to be careful where we step with all the heavy units on the floor. Uttam Nagar is a crowded place, and the traffic on Dal Mill Road can be quite a headache when we are trying to unload new shipments. We usually have a few batteries sitting on the counter waiting for customers to pick them up. It is just a couple of us working here, so we do everything from the technical testing to the heavy lifting. We don't have any fancy displays; we just keep the shelves stocked with what people need. Most of our day is spent talking to neighbors about their power backups and making sure their inverters are wired up correctly. It is simple, honest work that keeps us busy from morning until late evening when we finally shut the shutters.
