A K Mishra Associates

Sheila Sadan is the name of the house where we work in New Shastri Nagar. It is in Purnea, Bihar. A K Mishra Associates has been based here for quite a while now. The office is really just a couple of rooms on the ground floor. We have filled them with bookshelves and cabinets to hold all the records we keep. It is a quiet neighborhood, mostly full of families and small local shops. We do not have a big sign on the gate, just the name of the house. People in Purnea usually know where Sheila Sadan is, so they do not have much trouble finding us. The work we do is very routine. We spend our mornings going through the new files and our afternoons meeting with people from the area. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common in this part of Bihar, so we just sit on the porch and wait for it to come back. We do not have any fancy computers or high-tech systems. We still do a lot of things by hand in our ledgers. It is a slow and steady way of working, but it works for us. We have grown up in this town, so we know most of the people who come to see us. It is more about helping our neighbors than anything else. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day.
