If you go to General Mahadevsingh Road in Dehradun, you’ll find us in Flat 302 of the NCR Residency. It’s right across from St. Judes School. Vijit Agro Private Limited isn’t your typical farm office because we are based in an apartment building in the city. We do most of our coordinating from here, talking to suppliers and checking on our projects out in the rural areas. Dehradun is growing fast, and there’s a lot of traffic on the road outside our building. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, with just a few of us at our desks. We aren't wearing suits or anything; it’s a casual place. We spend a lot of time on the phone or driving out to the fields to see how things are growing. Being in the city helps us with the logistics and getting things moved to where they need to go. We handle a variety of agro-related tasks, but we keep it pretty simple. No big mission statements, just trying to keep the business running and making sure the quality of the produce is what it should be. It gets a bit hectic when multiple shipments arrive at once, and our small space feels even smaller then. But we like the location, and it’s easy for people to find us once they know where the school is. It’s just us, working hard in a flat.
