We are located at 96 Race Course, right in the heart of the area. It’s a decent spot for a fashion shop and we spend most of our mornings just tidying up the hangers and making sure everything looks okay. The Race Course neighborhood is usually busy with people walking their dogs or just going about their daily business. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack in as much as we can on the racks. We started out just wanting a place to sell clothes that people around here would actually wear. Nothing too crazy or over the top. Most days it’s just us chatting with whoever walks in the door. Sometimes people come in just to escape the sun for a bit and we don't mind. We get our new stock in every few weeks and that’s always the most hectic time because the boxes take up all the floor space. You have to step over things just to get to the back. We try to keep things simple and honest. There’s no big marketing team or anything like that behind us. It’s just a small local business trying to make a living in a crowded city. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers or trying to fix a loose shelf. It’s not always pretty but it is what it is. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and we like the vibe of the street. It feels real.
