We are located out in Dhandari Kwargipur, which is a bit of a quiet spot compared to the big cities. Shyamo Devi Gromodhyog Sansthan has been operating here as a registered group for quite a while. Our work is mostly centered around the local community and making things that people can use in their daily lives. It is more of a hands-on environment than a corporate one. We don't have a bunch of managers in suits, just local people who know how to make things. The building we use is simple and fits in with the rest of the village. We have a few rooms where the work happens and a small area for storage. Sometimes we all sit together and figure out how to solve a problem with a machine or a supply issue. It’s a very communal way of working. We don't worry much about being the fastest or the biggest; we just want to make sure the work we do is solid. The road to Dhandari can be a bit bumpy, but people still find their way to us. We enjoy the pace of life here. It allows us to focus on the details without being rushed by some big corporate deadline. We are just a small organization trying to make a living and help out where we can in our own little corner. We hope to stay here for a long time yet.
