Maurya Handicraft is over at No. 149 in Pandit Wari. It’s in the Prem Nagar area, near the post office. We’ve been here for a good while. The shop is filled with all sorts of things we’ve collected or made. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside sometimes because of all the stock. Pandit Wari is a nice enough neighborhood. We know most of the people who walk by every day. It’s not a high-end gallery or anything like that. It’s just a place where we work with our hands and sell what we have. Prem Nagar is a busy part of town, but our corner is relatively steady. We don't really have a big marketing plan. Maurya Handicraft just exists because we like what we do. People find us by word of mouth mostly. Sometimes someone sees the sign and wanders in. We talk to them, show them what’s on the shelves, and that’s it. It’s a very simple way of doing things. We don't have a website that’s updated every day or a team of people in suits. It’s just us at number 149. If you’re looking for something specific, you might have to dig a bit, but that’s part of the charm. We’re just a local handicraft shop in Prem Nagar. We try to be there every day except holidays.
