Shri Tulsi Garments

Our spot is right by the Post Office in Barlow Ganj, not too far from Banaras Road. It’s a small, cozy place where we handle all sorts of garments. The shop is often a bit cluttered with rolls of cloth and piles of finished clothes waiting to be picked up. We’ve been serving the local community here for a long time. It’s a quiet neighborhood most of the year, though it picks up when the schools are in session. Our lighting isn't the best, and the floorboards creak a little when you walk in, but it’s home to us. We don't try to keep up with the latest high-fashion trends you see in the big cities. We just make and sell clothes that are practical for the people living up here in the hills. Sometimes we spend the whole afternoon just doing small repairs or stitching up school uniforms. The windows get a bit foggy when it rains, which happens quite a bit around here. We know almost everyone who walks through the door by their first name. We aren't a big brand with a lot of fancy offices. It’s just us and our sewing machines. People come to us because they know we do a decent job for a fair price. We just keep the shelves stocked and try to stay warm during the cold months. It’s a steady, quiet kind of life we have here. We usually close up when the sun goes down behind the mountains.
