Shakumbhari Traders

You can find Shakumbhari Traders on Dakpathar Road in Vikasnagar. We’re situated quite close to the LIC office, which is a good landmark for people who haven't been here before. Being on a main road means there’s always people passing by and traffic moving. We do various kinds of trading here, so there’s always something different coming in or going out of the shop. The place isn't anything special to look at, just a regular storefront with shelves and some storage space in the back. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when we have a new shipment arrive and we haven't put it away yet. We spend a lot of time talking to customers who walk in off the street. It’s a nice neighborhood, and we’ve gotten to know the other shop owners around here pretty well over the years. We don’t have a big team or any fancy systems to track things. We just write things down in our ledgers and keep track of what people need. Some days are slow and we just sit outside for a bit, and other days it’s non-stop. The traffic on Dakpathar Road can get a bit loud, especially in the afternoons, but you get used to it. It’s just a local business trying to keep things simple for everyone. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. If we have what you need, we’ll tell you, and if we don’t, we’ll see if we can get it soon. It’s straightforward work and we like it that way.
