New Mittal Garments

Our shop is at 19/20 Jhanda Bazar. If you’ve ever been to Jhanda Bazar, you know how crowded it gets, especially on the weekends. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and the building shows its age a little. There are some cracks in the floor tiles and the ceiling fan squeaks if you put it on the highest setting. But it’s our space and it works for what we do. New Mittal Garments is just a place where you can find honest clothes. We don’t try to keep up with every single trend you see on TV. We just stock what we know people around here like to wear. It’s a lot of folding and re-folding every day because customers like to pull things out from the bottom of the stack. We don’t mind, it’s part of the job. The street noise is constant, but once you’re inside, it feels a bit more contained. We have a small desk where we keep the accounts and a heavy old stool for when our legs get tired. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the bazaar. We just want to be the one that’s still here twenty years from now. It's a simple business, buying clothes and selling them to the people who walk through our door. Sometimes we have to move the racks around to make more room, but we usually forget where we put things for a day or two.
