New Empire

Our business, New Empire, is situated right on Rajpur Road. If you know this area, you know that Rajpur Road is one of the main spots around here, so there is always something going on outside our door. We carry a variety of items, mostly different kinds of clothes and things people need for their homes. The shop isn't laid out like a modern boutique. It is more of a traditional store where we utilize every inch of space to show our stock. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, and we often have to use a tall ladder to reach the things at the top. The floor is made of old stone that has stayed cool even on the hottest days. We have a few regular customers who stop by just to say hello and see what is new. We like that about being on Rajpur Road. It feels like a community. We don't spend money on marketing or polished brochures. We just open up the shop in the morning, sweep the sidewalk, and wait for people to come in. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard for people to park, but they usually find a way to get to us. We handle the paperwork ourselves on a small desk tucked in the back corner. It is a bit messy with papers and pens, but we know where everything is. New Empire is just a straightforward place run by people who have been here for a long time.
