Keraa Fashion

Keraa Fashion is our little place over in the Tibetan Colony in Clement Town. We are situated quite close to the T.N.M.F. School, so we often hear the kids playing or the bells ringing throughout the day. It’s a nice, peaceful part of town to be in. We started this business because we wanted to work for ourselves in our own neighborhood. The shop isn't anything fancy or high-end. It’s just a room with some racks and a workspace where we do our sewing and adjustments. We’ve lived in Clement Town for a long time, so we know most of the people who walk past our door. It’s a very local feel here. We don’t do much advertising or anything like that. People usually just find us by walking through the colony. Sometimes we have tea with the neighbors while we work on a new design. It is a slow and steady kind of life. We don't have a big corporate office or a long list of employees. It's just us doing what we know how to do. The Tibetan Colony is a good community and we feel lucky to have our space here. We try to keep the shop simple and clean, but it usually ends up with scraps of cloth on the floor by the end of the day. That’s just the way it goes when you are actually making things.
