Disha It Lab

Disha It Lab is located right near Fortis Hospital in Birta. It’s a convenient spot because everyone knows where the hospital is, so we just tell people to look for us nearby. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of fans and people talking about software or hardware problems. We have a bunch of computers set up for people to use or learn on. It’s not a very big space, and it can get a bit crowded when we have a full house. We spend our days troubleshooting issues or showing someone how to navigate a program. The floor is linoleum and the lights are fluorescent, so it’s a very standard-looking lab. We don't have much in the way of decoration, maybe a few posters about technology on the walls. Being near the hospital means there’s always people moving around outside, but inside we try to keep things focused. Sometimes we have to deal with slow internet or power cuts, which is just part of working here. We’re not a big institution, just a local lab where people can come to get their tech work done. We usually have a few spare parts lying around on the desks. It’s a functional place, meant for learning and working. We open up in the morning and stay until the last person finishes their task. It’s a steady routine that keeps us connected to the local community.
