Podar Jumbo Kids

Our little spot for Podar Jumbo Kids is located over in Krushinagar, right on Savalanga Road in Shimoga. If you know the area, you know it’s a pretty decent part of town. We mostly deal with very young children here, so the days are usually quite loud and full of energy. We’ve got colorful walls because that’s what you do for a preschool, I guess. The teachers here are local women who have a lot of patience, which they definitely need because the kids are always up to something. It’s not a huge place, but there is enough room for them to move around and play with the toys we have. We try to keep a routine so the parents know what to expect when they drop their toddlers off in the morning. Sometimes the gate gets a bit stuck in the rainy season, but we fix it. We aren't trying to be the most modern building in Shimoga, we just want it to be a safe place where kids can spend a few hours without any trouble. Parents often stop by to chat when they pick up their little ones. It feels like a small community here on Savalanga Road. We focus on basic things like drawing, singing, and just learning how to sit still for a bit. It’s hard work but it’s what we do every day. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team, just some classrooms and a lot of play.
