Little Champs Gurukulam

This school is in the MCC B Block of Davangere, specifically on the 5th Cross of the 10th Main. It’s a very established residential area, so it’s surrounded by homes and small shops. The building at No 1515 has been part of the neighborhood for some time now. You can hear the kids' voices from the street when they’re having their assembly or playing during the break. Davangere is known for its heat, and the school building can get a bit warm in the afternoons, but the high ceilings help a bit. Most of the children live within a few kilometers and either walk or come by auto-rickshaw. The interior is quite straightforward with rooms labeled by grade and a small area for the staff to sit. We have some basic play equipment in the back that’s seen better days but the kids still love it. The walls are covered with some charts about the alphabet and numbers. It’s not a polished corporate environment; it’s more like a second home for the students. The teachers are locals who speak the language and know the families well. Sometimes there’s a bit of confusion at the gate when everyone arrives at once, but we figure it out. It’s just a normal, everyday school where we try to keep things organized without making them too complicated. People around here appreciate having a place like this right in the heart of the block.
