Millat College is right there in the Rahamganj neighborhood of Darbhanga. It’s been a part of this community in Bihar for quite a long time. If you walk down the lanes here, you can see the college building which has a very traditional look to it. It’s not a modern glass structure; it’s more about history and the people who have passed through these halls over the decades. Inside, the rooms are large with big fans spinning overhead to deal with the Bihar heat. We don't really do things in a very formal or corporate way. It’s more like a big family where the office staff knows the students' uncles or fathers because they probably studied here too. The courtyard is a popular spot for everyone to hang out when there are no classes. We have a library that’s filled with old books and some new ones too, though the shelves are a bit crowded. Life in Darbhanga is simple and our college reflects that. We don't have a lot of high-tech gadgets, just the usual desks, chairs, and blackboards. The focus is on getting through the syllabus and making sure the students are prepared for their futures. You’ll often see people standing outside the gates chatting or grabbing a quick snack from the vendors. It’s just a local college doing what it has always done for the people of Rahamganj and the city. There aren't any big slogans, just people trying to get an education.
