Even though the name mentions Pune, this specific branch of Valecha Engineering Limited is actually located way down in Karnataka. We are in Hithlu House in the Shankarpura Post area of Udupi District. It’s a very different vibe from a big city office. The building is more like a traditional house, which is quite common in this part of Udupi. We handle the local engineering needs from here, surrounded by a lot of greenery and a much slower pace of life than what you’d find in Mumbai or Pune. The air is better here, but the work is still just as serious. We spend our time coordinating with various sites and making sure all the engineering details are correct. Since it’s Pin 574115, we are a bit removed from the main town, but that’s okay because it’s quiet. Inside Hithlu House, we’ve set up our desks and computers to keep track of everything. We don't have any polished reception or marketing people hanging around. It’s just the technical staff and some administrative folks. Sometimes the monsoon rains make it hard to get around, but we stay busy inside. It’s a practical setup that works for us. We just show up, do the work, and enjoy the relative peace of being in Shankarpura. It’s a straightforward way to run things, and we like the simplicity of this location.
