Site Engineer

We are set up on K.E.B. Road in the Harady area of Puttur. If you know the Sri Gurukripa building, that is where you can find us. It is a local operation through and through. Site engineering keeps us busy most days because there is always some project going on in this part of D.K. Karnataka. We spend a lot of our time looking at maps and checking ground levels under the sun. It is not glamorous work by any means. There is a lot of dust and sometimes we have to deal with the monsoon rains making a mess of everything. We started here because we know the land and the people around Puttur. Most of our tools are a bit worn from use, but they still do the job fine. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, one of us is just sitting at the back desk finishing up paperwork or we are out on a site. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We see folks from the neighborhood every day and they know what we do. If a wall needs to be straight or a foundation needs marking, that’s where we come in. We don’t spend money on big signs or ads. Word of mouth is how most people find their way to our door on K.E.B. Road. It is just a small office with some blueprints and measuring gear scattered around. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
