Fab Tech Pvt Ltd (Under Lnt-Ecc Div)

Our office is down in Mangalore, specifically at F-133 in the MRPL Colony in Katipalla. Being part of the L&T-ECC division means we are usually tied up with some pretty large construction and fabrication projects around the refinery area. It’s a very industrial part of town, so you’re always hearing the sounds of work going on around the clock. The MRPL Colony is its own little world. We spend a lot of time on fabrication tasks, making sure structures are built right. It’s a lot of steel and heavy lifting. The coastal air in Mangalore means we have to be careful with maintenance, but we’re used to it by now. The team here is a mix of engineers and site workers who know their way around a project. We don't really have time for corporate polish or long speeches. We just get the drawings, look at the materials, and get to work. It can get pretty hectic when a big project is in the middle of its cycle. Sometimes we’re at the office late or out on the site early in the morning. The colony itself is where many of us live too, so work and life kind of blend together for us. We just try to do a solid job and keep things moving without any drama. It’s a practical way of living and working that seems to suit everyone here in Katipalla.
